[4K] Marvel's Spider Man – PS4 vs. PS4 Pro Graphics Comparison & PS4 Frame Rate Test

EDIT: resolution is dynamic, PS4: 1080p, sometimes 900p / PS4 Pro around 1440p up to 2000p. Here is my graphics comparison for Marvel's Spider-Man on PS4 vs. PS4 Pro – I added a frame rate test, but it's for PS4 only because I am struggling with 4K lossless capturing. The differences are not so huge, as far as I could notice. Main difference is resolution, I also noticed some slight improvements with reflection quality. Good thing is, that you can turn on and off Motion Blur, Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain. For most of the comparison scenes I turned all effects off to get a clearer image.

Graphically speaking, I thought this game looked fantastic. Fun game, will play part 2 for sure.

O.K., we get it: the PS4 pro is better, but not that much better, I think what we can all agree on is, that the PS5 is gonna be the best yet.

Even though PS4 Pro has the better specs, game devs will make sure the games will run smoothly and look good on a PS4 because this is the console owned by most people. So you cant really tell any difference. You are better off spending the extra money on a few games. Also, PS4 consumes less electricity, weighs less and also slimmer. It also has more resale value as most people will want to buy a normal PS4 instead of PS4 Pro.

DanTDM played on a PS4pro and it looked amazing but his exacted words were "I think it looks so good because i'm on PS4pro." and it looked sick. But from watching this I don't see a difference. Meaning the true words are… "It looks so good on PS4pro, But I bet it looks the same on a PS4." And from watching this the second sentence is true. The first sentence is half true half false. Because it looks good on PS4pro but it looks the same on PS4. meaning Dan was half right half wrong. But on the bright side Dan looked SICK saying it. (Spider-man looked SICK doing it.) I thought I would need to go and get a PS4pro because I have a PS4. But it turns out that it really doesn't madder. (what does madder is how much it costs) (The suits are what make the game look cool.)

The ps4 pro just have better dynamic resolution and textures and can boost most ganes upto 60FPS But spiderman runs at 30 FPS If you play in 4k or else tries to target 60 and get as much as average 52FPS while playing in 1080p

Well on xbox, the difference is huge, like really, one x vs one s is totally insane, PS4 pro vs xbox one x, the graphics for majority of the games are similar BUT in distance scaling, popping, load times, some minor texture quality and all, one x wins, also due to much higher ram, its faster too, in red dead, really one x stands out, and devs can stretch it even more, just imagine if the devs for xbox one x started focusing on quality than resolution, like instead of full 4k,tjey do fake 4k like ps 4pro,and just go full graphics, imagine how much difference the one x could make, like that's a reason devs aren't doing it, they wanna make it fair for both sides and thus the little enhancements on xbox, otherwise if they go full in, ps4 pro really will be like 😱

Theres enough of a difference that over the lifetime of your console it will make your gaming experience better. Plus better load times on the pro. Its all around better, not just the graphics.
